Hatch Consultants Associates
Jack Hilbert is a professional engineer and pneumatic conveying expert with Hatch Consultants Associates. He has nearly 46 years of engineering expertise in the design, installation, startup, operation, and field service of pneumatic conveying systems. Jack presents numerous webinars and sessions at technical conferences covering a wide range of pneumatic conveying topics and has authored many articles for Powder and Bulk Engineering magazine. Jack is a graduate of Penn State University with undergraduate and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering.
Jenike & Johanson
Vice president with Jenike & Johanson for 23 years, Eric has published more than 40 papers on the storage, flow, and pneumatic transport of bulk solids. He lectures frequently on solids handling and pneumatic conveying through the ASME/AIChE Continuing Education Program and to individual companies. He has designed hundreds of bulk solids handling systems with a special focus on the cement Industry. Eric has particular interest in crushing technologies for the minerals industry, as well as in the field of dust explosions and powder electrostatics. He is a member of the ASME, AIChE, and NFPA. Eric received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Villanova University and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Stonehouse Process Safety
Vahid Ebadat, Ph.D., M.Inst.P, MIET, and C.Phys. is CEO of Stonehouse Process Safety Inc. He has worked extensively as a global process safety consultant for the chemical, pharmaceutical, food, paper/wood, and other process industries for more than 30 years. Dr. Ebadat has published many technical articles and papers and is a regular speaker on various process safety topics, including dust explosion, static electricity, gas and vapor flammability, and thermal decomposition/self-heating hazard assessment and control. Dr. Ebadat is a member of the NFPA 77 Technical Committee on Static Electricity.
Timothy Heneks is the director of engineering services at Dustcon Solutions Inc. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Florida. Prior experience includes work in the chemical processing industries as an engineer with Dow Chemical.
Larry Eagan has more than 25 years of bulk material handling experience. He has spent 18 years as a regional sales manager for Magnum Systems. He has also previously worked for MAC Equipment & Industrial Accessories Company. Larry has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia and a master’s degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City.
