Jack Hilbert has brought more than 45 years engineering, field service and start-up expertise to Pneumatic Conveying Consultants. Today the PCC team provides over 100 combined years industry experience delivering expert solutions and proven results. In addition to now heading up the organization, Jack continues to present numerous webinars covering a variety of pneumatic conveying issues and has authored many articles for Powder and Bulk Engineering magazine. Jack has a bachelors and masters degree from Penn State University and is a registered professional engineer.

Jack Osborn, Senior Project Engineer for Airdusco Engineering and Design Services, LLC, of Tennessee has 42+ years experience in the concept, design, project management, start-up, and operations/maintenance training for an extensive range of mechanical equipment systems, including dust collection, ventilation, bulk mechanical systems (pneumatic and mechanical), storage, weighing, mixing, batching, etc. In addition he is also a member of all six (6) NFPA committees on combustible dusts (61, 484, 652, 654, 664 and Correlating). Jack has published multiple articles in Powder and Bulk Engineering magazine and is a frequent contributor for Ask the Expert.

Dr. Kerry Johanson got an early start in dry material handling as a summer lab technician with Jenike & Johanson in Billerica, Massachusetts during his high school and undergraduate years. Receiving his BS degree in 1985, Kerry spent 14 years with JR Johanson, Inc. in San Luis Obispo California serving as Chief Technical Officer. In 2001, he founded Material Flow Solutions, Inc. and serves as the company’s Chief Operations Officer. He has authored more than 40 technical papers; developed a course for teaching powder flow technology to graduate students, and has mentored five recent doctoral graduates at the University of Florida. Dr. Johanson holds a Ph.D. in chemical engineering and is an active member of AAPS, AIChE, and ASTM.

Vice President with Jenike & Johanson, Eric has published over forty papers on the storage, flow, and pneumatic transport of bulk solids. He lectures frequently on solids handling and pneumatic conveying through the ASME/AIChE Continuing Education Program and to individual companies. He has designed hundreds of handling systems for bulk solids, with a special focus on the Cement Industry. Eric has particular interest in crushing technologies for the minerals industry, as well as in the field of dust explosions and powder electrostatics. He is a member of ASME, AIChE, and the National Fire Protection Association. Eric received his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

He held a variety of positions at St. Gobain, most recently completing a seven-year term as Environmental Services & Construction Manager. His specialty is in managing the installation and maintaining the performance of multiple dust collection systems to ensure they meet emissions and operating uptime requirements.
